NEW PLAY COMMISSION PROGRAM

Parallel 45 Theatre is committed to innovative, original material dedicated to our community’s youngest patrons.  New works for children are increasingly pushing the boundaries on stages across the country. This trend dovetails beautifully with Parallel 45’s overarching belief in the importance of looking at the world from a new angle; you’re never too young to learn the power of a new perspective. P45 is dedicated to commissioning one new play each year from the nation’s most daring playwrights. Our 2019 TYA Play Commission was awarded to Kristina Corcoran Williams.
