Performance Time

The entrance to the Amphitheatre will open one hour before showtimes and performances begin promptly at the published times.

Bar and Concessions

All performances will have a rotating selection of snacks, appetizers, and non-alcoholic drinks, and canned beer, wine, hard seltzers, and more available to purchase from Parallel 45’s concession stand. Parallel 45 accepts Cash and Credit Card payments.

We have accessible portable restrooms for use on site.

Weather Plan

If inclement weather poses a safety issue, the decision to cancel a performance will be made at least 90 minutes prior to the start of the performance times. If a show is cancelled, you will receive an email notification with options on refunds or exchanging for a different show date.

Parking

The Parallel 45 Amphitheatre is located at 357 S Civic Center Drive, Traverse City, MI 49686 on the grounds of Civic Center Park. Entrances can be found on Garfield and Titus Avenues. Please give yourself ample time for traffic and parking.

When you arrive, free parking is available anywhere on Civic Center grounds. Additional street parking is available on Titus Avenue or the surrounding streets.

Guests can also be dropped off at the Amphitheatre entrance for a shorter walk to the Box Office. Just look for the gravel parking lot and P45 signs.

Accessibility

Our theatre has accessible seating for those needing space for a wheelchair or other assistive device. A cement path can be taken from the parking lot to the front of the theater, from an area marked off of Titus Ave or over a small incline over a dirt path from the main entrance.

We have ushers and volunteers on hand to provide additional assistance to those with mobility needs, including the slight slope of our lawn. If you have additional accessibility questions or needs, email us at boxoffice@parallel45.org or call 231-714-4768.

Safety

Parallel 45 Theatre respectfully follows all Michigan safety and health guidelines. The use of masks outdoors is currently optional. Our adult company of over fifty staff, performers, designers and technicians is fully vaccinated against Covid-19.
